I have a background in graphic design and publishing. I have worked mostly for associations and nonprofits because I love work that makes a positive impact and helps others. I have been a freelance designer and copyeditor for over a decade, and I really like using all of my creative skills, which is why I am currently employed in the Communications department of a nonprofit. I believe design should be clean, consistent, and simple. And yes, I do like Helvetica. When I’m not working, I’m a mom to three little boys and enjoy writing an unfinished novel, reading, and drinking iced coffees. I also love thrifting and antiquing and wish every day felt like a crisp, fall day.
